I plan on retiring this site already. I spend like an hour every day on it and it barely gets any comments. I see lots of people people viewing it because of the sitemeter stats I have monitoring the site.
But I can not but help feel that this is all getting lonely for me.

I need to practice writing and typing. I actually have a goal of writing a novel. That hour per day is better used to just writing.

I actually opened up another site, as well. To do this.
To start fresh ...
To start a site that will become the opposite of what I have done with this site.

Was Zach Braff disappointed that he didn't make our Toxic Bachelors list? The Scrubs star has recently been making a strong run at the Most Toxic title, all but single-handedly ensuring that no woman under 35 can go for a drink in Manhattan without having her physique sized up, commented on, and, occasionally, groped by a real live sitcom actor.

Since his breakup with Mandy Moore a year ago, Braff has been trading on the sensitive-guy image he created with his tweemo touchstone Garden State to get women. (Was that the point of making it? One friend of Braff's from before the film remembers the actor drawing up a list of all the actresses he intended to bed once the movie came out.)

Having perhaps overextended his welcome among Hollywood's hotties, Braff has relocated to New York CIty for the summer, securing an apartment near NYU and becoming such a constant fixture on the nightlife scene that. Gawker recently banned readers from sending in their sightings of him.

By day, Braff's usually hanging out at the Washington Square Park dog run, using his terrier, Roscoe, as babe bait; by night, he's haunting bars like the Beatrice Inn, deploying pickup lines such as "You have a nice bottom" and "You have a hot bod." (To ensure a steady stream of nubiles at such excursions, Braff often deputizes a friend of his, a local plastic surgeon, and instructs him to "line up some 9s and 10s for us.")

One young lass, out with friends recently, watched in shock as Braff told her companion, "You have nice breasts." To ward off his advances, the girl claimed she was seeing someone; Braff immediately turned his attentions to another member of her party.

"You'd be hard-pressed to find a celebrity who gets into ladies' skirts simply by being a celebrity," says the source. "He's the perfect combination of narcissistic and insecure."

Mandy Moore's friend told a magazine Mandy was in a few months ago that Zach was "toxic" because he was a combination of "narcissistic and insecure". So I guess Mandy Moore's friend is behind this story.

Maybe now the healing can begin...

The CW has officially pulled the plug on Veronica Mars. Series creator Rob Thomas confirmed the news for me via e-mail just moments ago.

"I'm afraid I have to report that Veronica Mars is officially dead," he wrote. "At least in TV show form. There's really no way that it can happen now. I'm not sure the CW should've given the glimmer of hope. I think Dawn Ostroff genuinely would have liked to have continued on with a version of the show, but there was too much resistance around her. At the end of the day, it would've been kinder had the band aid simply been ripped off rather peeled away in than this agonizingly slow manner."

Ironically, the news comes just as Veronica Mars fans — emboldened by Jericho's 11th hour resurrection — are in the midst of bombarding The CW with thousands of Mars candy bars in advance of that June 15 deadline.

In light of this development, it might make sense to redirect those deliveries to Warner Bros.' feature division — specifically, the folks who would be responsible for greenlighting a Veronica Mars film. Just a thought. If you've got a better idea, by all means, post it below.

The world may soon know whether or not Eddie Murphy is the father of former Spice Girl Melanie Brown’s baby, Angel Iris.

Murphy, who Brown, 32, has always insisted is her child’s father, is due to appear in an L.A. court on Monday to submit to a paternity test, the British newspaper The Sun reports.

“Mel knows the baby is Eddie’s and can’t believe it has got to this point where she has to force him to acknowledge there is a chance he could be the father,” a source tells The Sun.

The comedian has so far refused to admit paternity of 2-month-old Angel Iris, born in April.

During an appearance last December on the Dutch talk show RTL Boulevard, Murphy, 46, was asked if he was happy with Mel "since she's pregnant with your child."

"You're being presumptuous because we're not together anymore," Murphy responded. "And I don't know whose child that is, until it comes out and has a blood test. You shouldn't jump to conclusions, sir."

Murphy is reportedly supposed to be in London promoting Shrek The ThirdCameron Diaz and Mike Myers, but insiders doubt that he would skip out on the DNA test. with costars

“If he tries to duck out of this test there will be all hell to pay,” says the source.

Mel B (aka Scary Spice) is also scheduled to attend the hearing. If Murphy shows up, it will be the first time the former couple has come face to face since the Dreamgirls star dumped Brown for film producer Tracey Edmonds last year.

The source adds: “At least this way they will know officially whether Eddie is the daddy or not and move on from there. This isn’t about the money, it’s about Angel knowing for sure who her dad is.”

Kylie Minogue will reportedly be staying in Wales in July to film an appearance in Doctor Who.

The icWales website quotes an insider on the hit family drama as revealing: “Kylie will be coming to Cardiff sometime next month. Everything has been arranged, a hotel has been booked and everyone on the set is excited about it.”

It is unknown whether the Australian singer will have a starring role in the Christmas Special or simply a cameo. Last year’s festive episode featured comedienne Catherine Tate sharing top billing with David Tennant, who plays the title role.

An artist always seeks solace in their work. It is an outlet for emotions, and a safe place to get real with their inner self. Mandy Moore’s new album “Wild Hope” was a much needed therapy session of sorts.

The Walk to Remember star credits the recording process as having pulled her out of a deep depression. Earlier this month she told press, “I’m a pretty positive person, but about a year and a half ago, I felt like someone dimmed the lights. I’ve said depressed before, but it wasn’t that I was incapable of going on about my day. I just felt sad and confused. I was asking, ‘Am I really the person I want to be? Am I really fulfilled?’”
